Good Habits are an award-winning UK folk duo endorsed by Neil Gaiman, and The Dresden Doll's Amanda Palmer
One of the most exciting new indie-folk duos to come out of the UK, Good Habits’ joyous genre-fusion has received international critical acclaim with performances at Glastonbury and WOMAD; tours throughout Europe and Australasia; and a Top 40 album.‘’Musicianship at its 21st-century best." - Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music
Composed of Bonnie Schwarz (cello + vocals) and Pete Shaw (accordion), the pair mix virtuosic musicianship and vocal harmony with vivid storytelling, drawing on their diverse musical tastes and weaving them into an action-packed narrative of folky goodness.
Forming in 2019, they have performed over 500 concerts from private events to international festivals - being described as "a duo with the sound of a 5 piece", their sound is suited from everything to soft background music to a late night dance party.
Their genre fusing music means there's something for everyone at their gigs as whirling traditional folk tunes meet jazz standards, klezmer and singer-songwriter lyricism with a healthy scoop of classic covers thrown in for good measure.
After a pandemic spent ‘happily stranded’ in New Zealand for all of 2020+2021 they arrived back in the UK to spread their joyous music throughout Europe.
