The Gold Band was formed in 2010 with the view to create a top quality, high energy and versatile function band that can cater for any event. Based in London, the band regularly plays functions all over the UK.

Collectively the band has been playing functions for the last 7 years and is made up of first call session musicians that have been featured on BBC2's The Review Show, SBS and ABC TV, toured internationally including Europe, Australia and Malaysia, and have hundreds of function gigs under their belt, including corporate clients such as BP, Toyota, QANTAS, and KPMG.

Golden is available for any party or function, big or small, and can cater to any specific requirements from different musician line-ups (ie, 4 piece all the way up to 9 piece ensemble with a horn section), and are happy to learn repertoire upon request (ie first dance tunes).

Most common line-ups:
- 5 Piece - Guitar, Drums, bass, keys, vocals
- 4 piece - Guitar, Drums, Bass, Vocals

Extras can also be added, for example:
- Horns (Saxophone, or as a 3 piece horn section)
- Male Lead Vocalist
- Additional acoustic or dinner music sets
- Acoustic duo (guitar/vox, suitable for pre-dinner drinks or dinner set)
- Dinner jazz / lounge music (quartet)
