About / Biography

I discovered the accordion when, living on a small boat, I missed my piano. I no longer miss my piano. 15 years later, I no longer have a small boat, but still have an accordion.

I now have many years experience of entertaining at wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate events, outdoor events, street parties and pub dinners. I have a large repertoire of French musette music, Oompah music, Irish, English and Scottish folk, popular Italian songs, klezmer tunes and tunes from many European countries. I can also offer English, Scottish and Irish dance tunes.

I'm also available to book as part of a duo, with saxophonist Sean McBride. Our repertoire is focused on Klezmer, but we're versatile.

I am now offering online accordion lessons. I have given lessons to students in my area for a number of years, so am experienced in teaching.

Dear John,
