Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I require access to power (2x 13AMP sockets ideally.)

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, I am fully self-contained - 2000w PA System and a set of up-lighters for ambience and a party atmosphere.

What information do you require about a venue?

I need to know parking, load in times, whether the venue has an in house sound system, size of performance area.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, there will always be music going on! I have a range of playlists before, during the break(s) and after the performances.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

The best show I have ever played is at Glastonbury Festival, I performed on a small acoustic stage but the atmosphere and prestige of Glastonbury was infectious! The best venue I have performed at is Arlington Arts in Newbury - I have performed there numerous times and it always makes me feel good to perform in front of such a large audience.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

My performance style is very much influenced by Ed Sheeran, the live looping and energy he brings inspires me every day. I am a big fan of old skool musicians such as Nile Rodgers and Earth, Wind & Fire, but also modern artists such as The 1975 and Bastille.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started performing for bands and artists at University in 2016, as a session musician and also a record producer for studio work. Hundreds of shows and festivals later I decided to go solo in 2018. Since 2022 when things started opening up again, I have really honed my performance craft and I am now playing more shows than ever before.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I love performing upbeat sets at Weddings, Clubs and Student Bars - the energy from the audience is what I love the most! However, I am partial to a chilled cafe or restaurant set with some laid-back, slow-tempo, acoustic classics.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Arrival: 45 minutes - 1 hour
Setup/pack down: 15 to 30 minutes

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, if the performance space is covered. I have contingencies and rain protection for emergencies but, due to the amount of electrical equipment onstage, I can only perform in good weather.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I have a vast collection of over 90 songs, however I do take up to 5 requests for weddings (with 2 weeks notice.) I can also take requests by the event organisers from the song list provided.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients regularly note that I have a strong connection with the audience, with the ability to adapt on the fly to the changing dynamic of shows. Customers say I am very energetic BUT most importantly - not too loud! They love the vibe that I create using live looping, creating an energetic sound of a band but with the volume and convenience of a solo artist.
