We've been playing together since 2009 at weddings, parties and festivals in the Cambridge area.
With a mix of influences including jazz, blues, indie rock and classical, we believe that our musicality and humour bring a breath of fresh air to the idea of the 'function band', which is too often associated with stuffy and forgettable 'jukebox' bands.
We still have a huge repertoire, but we enjoy what we play and bring our own spin to it, and we're not afraid to take requests and improvise on the fly, which we find really helps to keep people engaged and dancing all night long.

We are generally self-sufficient in terms of equipment, and just need some power sockets in the stage area.
Performance space of 5 x 5 meters is great, but we can usually find a way to work the available space.
Where parking is available, we require 5 car spaces.
Yes we provide all our own audio and lighting equipment
It's useful to know the best place to load in from that is as close as possible to the stage, as well as parking arrangements. In addition, we'd like to know if there's a sound limiter at the venue and what it
is set to, so we know whether to bring an electric rather than an acoustic drum kit.
Yes we can play music from Spotify before our set, during our break and for up to 30 minutes after we finish. We have our own playlist that avoids duplication of our set list, but we are also very happy to plug in your own device if you prefer.
Arrival: 2 hours before the performance
Set up time: 1 hour
Performance: 2 x 1hr with a 30min break in between
Pack down: 30 minutes
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
Clients are welcome to let us know if they have any favourite songs from our repertoire. For weddings, we will also learn the first dance if you'd like it played live. Otherwise we don't follow a strict list on the night because we strive for audience interaction and we love to take requests.
Here are some of the nice things our clients have said about us:
“Dance floor was pumping, never seen so many people in our business dancing”
“Highly recommend to anyone looking for an awesome band. You did an amazing job helping to keep our dance floor full! We had so many brilliant comments. ”
“A huge contribution to the atmosphere. So impressed with your style, lively and fun, and you managed to get everyone dancing (all ages!)”
