Firefly has played at hundreds of weddings, parties & functions since 2010. In recognition of our long-established reputation as THE wedding & party band to book, we were awarded the ‘Best UK Wedding Band’ by the International Wedding Awards in both 2022 & 2020! We also won the ‘highly commended’ Wedding Band of the Year 2019 (South West) award, by the prestigious Events Entertainment Awards! The band was also picked from over a thousand other top bands to headline at the Frocester Festival on the main stage on 25th August!

Firefly is unique from other bands as it has 4 lead singers (2 female & 2 male) & stunning 4-part harmonies. With 2 exceptional female lead vocalists, a male guitarist & male drummer who both sing lead vocals, the band produces a huge sound for the price of only a 5 or 6-piece band! With keyboards, saxophone, drums, lead & bass guitar & 4 lead singers + a disco, Firefly will keep your guests dancing and entertained all night so you can relax in the knowledge that everyone is having a great time and creating life-long memories!

Our musicians have performed on television shows such as 90210, ITV’s I’m a Celebrity… and also Radio 2. Band members have also worked with international artists including Queen, The Weather Girls, Sister Sledge, Gloria Gaynor & Kerry Katona. Firefly's recent clients include Sony, Audi, Ageas Insurance, Centaur, Lloyds TSB, Oxford University, Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey), among hundreds of others.

Firefly is a 5, 6, 7 or 8 -piece band. All options = 100% live music. Our performances are facilitated by state of the art sound and lighting, managed by a fully qualified front of house sound engineer, for crystal-clear sound and breathtaking lights. We come fully equipped with a disco between live band sets.

Why hire our band for your wedding function or party?
We know how to get your party started and we care as much about you and your guests having fun as you do. We will tailor our set to your tastes and we pride ourselves on the wonderful comments we receive. As well as playing guaranteed dancefloor fillers, we offer jazz and swing during drinks reception and meals, as well as live music for wedding ceremonies, breakfasts and champagne receptions.

Our package to you includes:

* 5 - 8-piece band (1 or 2 female lead vocalists, 2 male lead vocalists (drummer & guitarist), 4-part harmonies, optional saxophone, keyboards, lead guitar, bass guitar, drums (+ option to add trumpet & percussion)
* Professional PA (sound) system and lights, managed by our fully qualified front of house sound engineer (for crystal clear sound and special effects)!
* Two hours of dancefloor filler live music sets (pop, rock, funk, soul, & Motown from 1960's to current chart hits inc electronic dance music) plus optional third hour of live music – either dancefloor filler music or a jazz / swing / ballad set (for a small additional fee)
* Disco between live band sets
* The opportunity for Firefly to learn a first dance song of your choice
* High energy entertainment and audience interaction, so that you can relax in the knowledge that your guests are dancing and having a great time!
