Evelyn is a classically trained singer from Hastings, of Norwegian decent. Her vocal style can be beautifully delicate in places yet strong and powerful in others. With this diverse signature sound, Evelyn brings magic to the classic jazz, soul and pop songs she chooses to sing. Each set is remarkably passionate and crafted with expert professionalism, and the band pride themselves on their diverse and varied repertoire. Evelyn and her stellar backing band have been playing together for nearly three years and have toured Europe, The Middle East and Asia collectively and with separate projects. They have also graced stages as Glastonbury, Bestival, Shambala and Boomtown.

We don't need a proper dressing room, but a space to change, keep our instrument cases etc.
Yes, we are completely self contained. We bring our own PA system and all equipment for the gig. We have a very simple lighting set up, if you would like a full disco feel, we'd advise hiring extra lights.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. It'd be great to know if there is an event organiser to be in touch with.We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes absolutely. We're happy to play music through our speakers between the sets. If you require us to do so post the gig you can then look at booking our full DJ service as an add on to the gig.
We performed in front of thousands of people at Camp Bestival 2023 on a huge stage made from a ship. Our piano player was on a flying grand piano, whilst I was singing sat on top of it (The piano flew over the stage from a crane!) We were playing as a full 8 piece band (including 3 piece horn section), we had a 30 piece choir, plus 10 dancers and circus performers creating the spectacle show called All You Need Is Love. It was one for the books!!
Florence and the Machine - her voice is so powerful and she knows how to write an epic pop song. We never play a set without Dog Days or You've Got The Love, they always go off with the crowd.
We are a band made of professional full time musicians. We all studied music and have devoted our lives to performing live, recording, studio sessions, touring, writing, and teaching. We have all gigged extensively and globally, playing all over Europe, The Middle East and North America.
The beauty of our job is it's so diverse, it's great to be playing a festival one week, on tour through the Alps the next, playing a wedding the week after. Variety keep all gigs fun to play
We take about an hour to set up and sound check.
We are happy to arrive by 6pm and finish at midnight.
We are happy to play outside so long as there is no chance for rain on the day. Water and electrics don't mix well.
We can discuss it together. We are of course happy for in put but need to make sure the set list has a good flow. We often recommend a traffic light system for the client to make of our repertoire : Green - must hears Amber - happy either way Red - would rather not have included.
