Elizabeth studied with Gabriella Dall’Olio at Trinity College of Music for her masters in performance with a Leverhulme Scholarship, having previously graduated in music from Royal Holloway, University of London.
Elizabeth regularly performs solo in recitals and concerts. In December 2012, she performed the premier of Russell Hepplewhite’s song cycle for harp and children’s choir at Glyndebourne with their youth opera. She has performed as part of the 2011 New London Orchestra Young concert artists’ platform and at St Martin in the Fields with Ronald Corp and Apsara, performing works for harp and voices, and harp solo. In April 2009 she was soloist with the Oare String Orchestra, returning in 2011 to perform Mozart's Flute and Harp Concerto. She performed Debussy’s Danse Sacrée et Danse Profane with the Kantanti Ensemble in August 2010 and Ginastera’s Harp Concerto with Dulwich Symphony Orchestra in 2011. She has performed Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro with the Berkeley Ensemble and Symphonia Academica and has worked with Opera North performing concerts of chamber music. She has also performed many Chamber music concerts as part of the LPO apprentice scheme in venues such as The Royal Festival Hall and 100 Club.
Elizabeth freelances with various orchestras; she has played with RTE Concert Orchestra, The New London Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, London Telefilmonic Orchestra, London Metropolitan Orchestra and Southbank Sinfonia In 2010-11, she participated in the Foyles Future Firsts programme with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and in 2009 undertook a BBC Concert Orchestra placement on the Trinity mentorship scheme.
She has performed for royalty, and made recordings for various popular artists, including Rick Wakeman, ‘The Six Wives of Henry VIII; Live at Hampton Court’ (2009) and Othon ‘Impermanence’ (2011). She regularly plays for weddings and corporate events, and has performed in venues such as The Savoy, The Dorchester, The Langham, and the Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
Elizabeth really enjoys teaching and outreach work - she founded the harp department at Hill House International Prep School, London, in 2008, and has remained the harp teacher there since. She has participated in many educational workshops in schools with the LPO and regularly plays in Hospitals, such as Great Ormond Street Hospital, and residential homes.
Forthcoming projects include Mozart’s ‘Flute and Harp Concerto’ with the Barnet Symphony Orchestra (2013) and an album of Japanese folk arrangements with Joji Hirota and The London Metropolitan Orchestra (2013).
