Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

We performed at one of Brighton's busiest live music bars on a Thursday night. It was an amazing experience to have a whole room of people singing along with the songs we were performing!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Our biggest influences are Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse and Coldplay. Not just for their huge crowd favourite hits, but for their energy and charisma as well which we like to incorporate into our own performances.

Our favourite artist overall is Amy Winehouse. She had such a unique voice and aura about her which will always be unmatched.

The greatest song of all time is a tough one to call. Our pick would be Hotel California. The whole song is a journey, a compelling experience which ends with one of the best guitar solos ever written.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We have been playing and writing music since we were both kids. We started gigging in secondary school and we have been in multiple bands. We are also currently in a Brighton based Indie/alternative rock band called SPOOKY HUGE. We have had music showcased on BBC Music Introducing and have played gigs all across the country.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Our favourite type of event to play at would be a wedding. The love and energy in the room is just a level above because of the occasion. Everyone is rightfully at their happiest and we love to feed into that energy when we play them.

What types of events do you perform at?

We perform at a wide variety of events including weddings, corporate events, private parties, festivals, and more. If you have a special event in mind, feel free to reach out and we can discuss how to make your occasion memorable.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up, meet the staff and get comfortable. We usually perform 3 x 45 minute sets but we are happy to play for longer if needed. However, we have found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We're more than happy to play outside, especially if the weather is good! Access to a power supply is preferred but not essential depending on the size of the venue and the type of event.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We can learn a specific setlist before a performance to suit the venue and our clients needs. We are also happy to take requests depending on what it is but we usually try to give most songs a go.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Our previous clients commonly describe our performances as a super immersive duo that can cover a wide range of genres and styles that love to get the audience on their feet dancing.
