'Dirty Beach' are a fun, exciting and contemporary covers band, covering songs from the 1960's to present day. Specialising in funk, soul, motown and pop, they have many years of experience playing live together as a band. They have developed a large repetoire of songs to suit any occasion and offer options to perform acoustic sets.
Tom (Guitar/Vocals), Archie (Drums/Vocals), Sam (Keyboards/Vocals) and Paul (Bass/Vocals) met in 2009 whilst attending University of Hull. They studied Popular Music and Music Technology and developed a close friendship during their time there. They played most weekends at local bars and pubs, Since leaving university and going their separate ways, they have decided to reform the band and start taking bookings again!
With over 600 events under their belt, Dirty Beach have built an extensive repertoire fit for any event and most of all still love doing what they do best...bringing the party to you!

We have all equipment necessary for setting up a band ie. extensions, lights, PA. All we need is a power supply. Parking close to the venue is preferable.
Yes, we provide all equipment including full PA system and simple lighting rig.
We just need the full address of the venue. We’d also need to know if the venue has a sound limiter installed.
Yes, we can provide music before and in between sets. You are more than welcome to send us a playlist or leave the music choice up to us. Our live sets usually finish at 11PM. Ask us about full DJ service until midnight.
We arrive 90mins before start time to allow for set up and soundcheck.
Our sets are usually 2 x 60 mins or 3 x 40 mins however we can tailor the sets to suit your evening.
We can perform outside, however we would ask for a power supply, shade or cover and a flat surface.
We can learn specific songs that aren’t in our repertoire, however we would charge for this to cover rehearsal time. Clients are more than welcome to look through our repertoire and pick our favourites or any songs that they don’t want played. We do have key songs that are tried and tested to fill dance floors that we like to include in most of our sets but we are happy to talk through this with any clients.
