Acoustic duo playing original songs plus over 4 hours of favourite covers mainly from the 60s and 70s with a splattering of 50s, 80s and 90s (The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Abba, Crowded House, Squeeze, The Everly Brothers, The Kinks, Glen Campbell, The Monkees, John Denver, Harry Milsson, Bacharach & David, Dolly Parton, Chas 'n' Dave, Sonny Curtis, Rod Stewart, Carole King, David Bowie and many more).
Meeting in the mid-nineties, David and Lee first played together in the full band line-ups of pop bands. With a common love of good songwriting, melodic acoustic guitars and vocal harmonies, David & Lee Acoustic Duo continue to record new material as well as perform live shows that include their back catalogue of songs alongside influential covers from their pasts.
David & Lee Acoustic Duo mainly perform around the London pub circuit but have also played at many private events and festivals supporting bands like D-Ream and Toploader.

We bring our won PA system to all gigs but do not provide any form of lighting.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue."
We are happy to play music before and after our sets and during any breaks through our PA. The playlist will be our own with songs in a similar genre to our sets.
The best gigs are always a surprise. Probably one night in the Trafalgar Tavern, just coming out of COVID restrictions when everyone was so happy to be out, sticks in our minds. The best venue we ever played was the Astoria, Charing Cross Road although playing Danson Park Fireworks in front of some 20,000 people was pretty special.
The Beatles, Crowded, House, Squeeze. We love well crafted 'listening' songs.
'If I fell' is a song that sums up this love.
Dave and Lee have both been playing guitar and singing for many years (for the majority of them together). They have been in a larger 4 and 5 piece pop bands in the past but settled on the more controllable Duo format a few years ago. The duo have played everywhere from small pubs to 20,000 attended festivals supporting top bands.

Yes, we do. We can play some songs for you if you like.
We normally arrive 75 minutes before performance time. We can play any reasonable length of set times (2 x 45 mins, 2 x 60 mins, 3 x 45 mins, 3 x 60 mins) depending on the occasion.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade /rain protection, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area. We can also play in an area with no electrical supply as we have a 'busking' set-up utilising small battery-powered amplifiers.
We can play a set elected by the band or we can supply a set 'tick list' for the client to pick from a selection of 75 songs. We are happy to learn one, specific, client - selected song provided this is selected well in advance of the event.
Clients normally compliment us on our vocal harmonies and say that we have a distinct sound. They often comment that we sounder bigger than just a two piece. People usually appreciate our selection of non-standard songs.
