Hello, and welcome to my profile! I am an experienced guitarist and singer, playing a wide range of popular songs. I play interesting and original arrangements of well known songs, spanning across several decades. I also use loop and harmony pedals to create a fuller, more dynamic and interesting sound.
I sing and play with passion and like to think I maintain a level of authenticity while playing popular and familiar songs; I don’t just go through the motions of playing a song, leaving you feeling you have not just hired a singer but an artist, giving your guests a memorable and enjoyable experience. I also have a fairly extensive repertoire, so can tailor my sets to what you want to hear and you can be assured there will be something for everyone throughout a performance.
I have been playing events and weddings for the best part of a decade. This means I'm very accustomed to the format and ambiance of an occasion - I am able to read a room, knowing what, when and how to play for each occasion. For weddings I learn and play aisle songs, first dances and requests, creating touching arrangements of your favourite songs. But I also know how to step it up a gear and get your party dancing! I have a very client-centred approach and try to go that extra mile to make your event extra special. This takes a pressure off and is one less thing to think about; you can be assured you're in good hands - one thing less to stress about on your big day!
I also offer a whole entertainment package, including DJ and lighting. This can often be a much less expensive route than hiring a seperate DJ for your event. Again, I keep an open dialogue with clients and get to know your musical tastes so that you hear the kinds of songs you like, which often makes the occasion that little more memorable.
With the best will in the world, even with loops and harmonies, there is only so much sound one person can make! For the occasions where an upbeat or more dynamic sound is required, I also offer a duo with my extremely talented duo partner, Daniel Sams (also found here on lastminutemusicians.com) This makes for a much more lively and textured sound, with combinations of guitars, piano, cajon and percussion throughout a set. However, what sets us apart as a duo is that we are both lead vocalists, so you get the benefit of two unique voices with professional musical accompaniment. This is the nearest thing you'll get to hiring a full band, without hiring a band, which can be a costly affair!

Yes, a full sound and lighting setup is included in all quotes. Only high end, professional equipment will be used to give top quality sound and lighting.
It is always useful to know how much space will be allocated, any accessibility issues, where the nearest power supply is and whether there is WIFI.
Yes, background music can be provided upon request between sets. A DJ service can also be provided before or after a performance at an additional cost.
