Although I love all my gigs and the great atmosphere that exists at them, one of my standouts was playing for a wedding at Gosfield Hall - such an amazing venue and a fabulous day for everyone.

Influenced by everyone from The Eagles to Ed Sheeran. Bruce Springsteen is my favourite artist. So hard to choose my greatest song of all time, but I'd probably have to go with: Hotel California.

I started gigging after playing at a friend's wedding when they said I should do it as a living. Since then I've performed at hundreds of weddings, parties, restaurants, hotels and events across the UK.

I love playing at all sorts of events, but weddings and parties are my favourite! The crowd want to get involved and it's great to help guests to celebrate their big occasions and to make their day really special.

I normally arrive at least 1 hour before the performance to set up. I usually perform 3x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. I'm happy to play for longer or shorter to ensure that I can meet whatever the customer wants.

I'm happy to play outside but we ask for shade/cover, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area

I am more than happy to run an event to provide the best experience for the client - I can play either set lists of songs or can devise the event from requests. Usually I would discuss this with the client beforehand, but I can also take requests on the day where possible.

My most recent Last Minute Musician client said: Dave was absolutely fantastic! What a voice, what a set list! Really really incredible and just perfect for our event. He really understood the vibe we wanted and made our guests happy with classics and upbeat music to bring atmosphere to our party. He arrived in great time, was super pleasant to deal with and brought all the necessary equipment. Thank you Dave, you are a legend!
