About / Biography

Whether you want background music for your drinks reception or upbeat bangers to get on the dance floor, I have the repertoire and experience to ensure your guests have the time of their lives!

Originally from Leicestershire, I first discovered my love of performing in school when I was asked to leave a French lesson for jumping up onto the table and singing Blue Suede Shoes. I was then lucky enough to perform as part of school musicals which led to me gaining a place to study at drama school in London. Since graduating all those years ago I have been fortunate enough to perform on the West End, in off-west end theatres as well as in multiple regional theatres, venues, and concert halls across the country - not forgetting all the wedding venues, bars, clubs and pubs too.

I truly love performing and relish any opportunity to share that with the public.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I require 1 x 13 amp power socket and a minimum of 2 meters x 2 meters performance space.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, I am completely self contained. I bring my own PA system to all of my gigs.

What information do you require about a venue?

I need to know any directions that will help me find the venue and find the right place to load in my equipment.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I'm happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between my sets.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

A while back I played a set at Glastonbudget Music Festival - it was incredible to play to that many people and have them sing your songs back to you!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I am most influenced by Newton Faulkner, have you heard his acoustic cover of Bohemian Rhapsody?! Unreal!

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started gigging at the age of 16 at a small local pub called The Ellistown Inn. Since then I have gone on to perform across the UK at weddings, parties and events with the odd cruise ship gig thrown in there too.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I love playing all sorts of events however, there is something special about playing a bride or groom down the aisle.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I normally arrive 1 hour before the performance to set up. I normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. I'm happy to play a bit longer or shorter but I’ve found that these set times suit me and my audiences best.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I'm happy to play outside but I will ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area wherever possible.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I can learn a specific song before the event but I do limit this to 1 song. The client is welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them - I tend to know what works well!

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers have said my sets are high energy and unique - I like to put my own twist on popular songs.
