Chris is a pianist based in Leeds, playing a varied and wide repertoire. Whether you require upbeat music to bring people to the dancefloor, or jazz standards for late night cocktails, Chris can provide a service for you, suitable for any audience. Recently, he has added a 90's Britpop section to his setlist, ideal for parties and functions, as well as being rather topical!
Besides performing solo, Chris is experienced in a variety of bands, including function bands, dance bands and pit bands. He also performs in "The Hylton Duo", a piano and sax duo specialising in weddings and other functions.
Chris is available to dep for a variety of bands and he is happy to arrange and record piano covers.

A PA system is provided for all gigs.
If the gig is outdoors, I need to know if there is shelter provided in the case of rain.
I am happy to provide a Spotify playlist, and happy to let the client choose the music.
I love playing at all kinds of events, however weddings and parties are my favourites. The relaxing easy listening setlist complements the happy atmosphere at a wedding, and the upbeat setlist never fails to get people dancing - or even singing at parties! I am always happy to hear a spontaneous "karaoke" performance - sing your hearts out!
Setup usually takes no more than 15 minutes. The usual performance consists of 2x45 minute setlists.
I am happy to play outside, providing adquate shelter is in place in case of rainfall.
The majority of shows consist of a set repertoire list, however I am happy, and encourage clients to request any songs, especially for weddings. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide on-the-spot requests.
