Chasing Airplanes an elegant self-contained function band based in Greater Manchester. The band provides high quality entertainment for weddings, parties, functions etc.
Chasing Airplanes have been a band for over 2 years, with the band members having performed for function and original shows for the preceding 4 years with various outfits. Our style is mainly based in popular pop music with some rock and funk elements too, meaning we have a diverse repertoire that can be adapted to suit any specific show.

Lights can be provided upon request. An extra charge will occur for lights hire.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before (up to 1hr), after (up to 20 mins) and between our sets (up to 30 mins). We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music. We also provide additional DJ for an extra charge.
We performed at the Colour Day festival in Greece. The energy was amazing!
Our band leaders are Royal Northern College of Music alumni so we started gigging in 2014 and since then we have performed at hundreds of events across the UK and beyond.
We love playing at all sorts of events! Each type of event is special in it's own way!
1 hour to setup and pack down.
Standard arrival time - 6pm with a midnight finish.
If the client wants the DJ service until later, extra fees will be applied.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
