Ruth is a versatile violinist and electric violinist based in Cardiff. She is available for events, tours, weddings, shows and recordings across the UK and around the world. With a vast repertoire of classical and popular music, Ruth can tailor her sets on both acoustic and electric violin to create the perfect ambience for your event. As a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the University of Aberdeen Ruth has been trained to the highest of standards. She has performed internationally, touring China, Russia and Germany as well as touring extensively across the UK.

Ruth offers a solo wedding and event package playing a mixture of classical and pop repertoire on either acoustic or electric violin. For weddings, she regularly performs during the ceremony and two 30 minute sets either before, after or during drinks. For events, she regularly perform two 45 minute sets. Performances are accompanied by specially made backing tracks. Set options can be classical, background, chillout, upbeat pop or a mixture of everything! Ruth performs on an acoustic violin, an electric NS Design wav 5 and a Ted Brewer Crossbow violin. She supplies a small PA, if larger amplification is needed please let her know at the initial point of contact.
