Bowstring, formed in 2007, combines the most skilled and experienced musicians and callers in their field. With an extensive repertoire including Irish (St.Patrick’s), Scottish (Burns Night/St. Andrew’s), English (St. George’s), and Americana they offer a full evening’s entertainment of music for dancing. The experienced caller is skilled at coaxing your guests onto the dance floor and guiding them through a range of interesting dances suitable for complete beginners and more experienced dancers alike. If your guests need to catch their breath between the energetic dances, Bowstring performs a wide variety of songs and tunes to entertain them.
Collectively Bowstring are the ideal choice for your event be it a corporate function, wedding, christening, barn dance, ceilidh, concert or festival. Individually, the band members have worked all over the world, singing and playing concerts and ceilidhs, Radio, TV and Films etc.
