Blue Boat Jazz is a hard working jazz band based in London. A group of experienced musicians who met on a jazz degree course at university, staying true to their collective love of classic swing and blues. You’ll hear the influencing sounds of Duke Ellington, Ray Charles, Fats Waller and Jelly Roll Morton. Playing together for the last three years they have played all over London in clubs such as The Vortex, Oliver’s jazz bar, Servant Jazz Quarters and Jazz after dark as well as countless function events.
The standard lineup: pianist, bass player & drummer. Optional female vocalist.
