Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

We require at least x2 13amp power sockets for the DJ and smaller band. With our larger setup, ideally at least x4 13amp power sockets to distribute power evenly

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we are completley self contained and the sound system and lighting is included in any quote

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any specific directions it its not obvious on google maps. For example if its a marquee wedding in a field, we may need to know specifics to find it. Other than that, if we havent played a venue before we will reserach and figure our what we need to before the event. If you venue has sound limitations, we can work to their rules in place, please just know we can't go louder than they allow.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes absolutly, we will even sort this in pre planning. Send us a playlist or let us know the kind of music you want and we will build it and run it in our automix DJ programme when the band are not performing. Please note this is free of charge and NOT our professional manned DJ service add on.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

Every couples wedding, every charity event for a great cause, every birthday party is equally as special to us no matter where it is. Each one is the best event and venue we have ever played at 😌

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We love any music that gets people feeling good and dancing. From the classic soul sounds of Stevie Wonder to the energetic rocky sounds of Blink 182

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We have all played music from a young age, we went to Leeds Collage of Music and from there have played live music full time to this day.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

We are most experienced in Weddings and would have to say this is our favourite, we love the personal touch and no wedding is exactly the same. It creates memories that will last forever and we are honoured to be chosen for the big day.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Our setup times we require from when the area is clear are:

. DJ, DJ and Sax: 60 minutes
. 4 - 8 piece band: 90 minutes
. Larger band: 120 minutes

We provide 90 minutes of live music as standard, usually in x2 45 minute sets. We do offer to play longer on request at an additional fee, but find the 90 minutes is a great sweet spot for enough entertainment and is the industry standard.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, providing we have full shelter from and unexpected bad weather

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Yes absolutly, songs possible will vary based on different musicians and singers and we ask for compromise on the final setlist. We are happy to send a list of songs for you to give your prefernaces and we will revolve it around that.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Please check our reviews/testimonials

Can someone sing with the band?

If this is prearranged yes, we have often had people sing with us and it creates a wonderful moment to remember. We even had the bride and groom both on stage playing bass and singing to summer of 69 once!

I want a live band but worried it will be too loud for alot of my guests that want to socialise and talk

We have invested in equipment suiatble for lower comfortable volumes, while still having amazing crystal clear sound on the dancefloor. This includes the highest qualiry electric drum kit and in ear monitors to avoud loud stage sound. We are actually on a few venues reccomended suppliers list because we are so good and respectful with the sound experience.
