No speakers needed, the pipes are loud enough without a mic :D
A postcode and address would be amazing :D
Im good at piping, don't think my DJ skills will be as good haha!
I have performed for the Scottish National Anthem at Twickenham in 2021. It was an incredible experience to able to perform to a televised audience of 8.7 million.
I would say Gordon Duncan: He brought the pipes into the 21st century with how they can played but also performed with other instruments.
My first gig was at the age of 13 for a Burns Night event at a local pub of mine. I also gained my experience through the Met Police and Royal Air Force playing at functions throughout the world. Since I started I've performed at over a thousand Weddings, Funerals, Shows, parties and events.
I don't really have a favourite type of event, every event is special in its own way and any chance to be able to perform on the pipes I enjoy.
I wear regular Highland Day dress which includes kilt, sporran, waistcoat and Jacket. I also offer full Highland Number 1 dress which includes kilt, horse hair sporran, tunic and plaid for a supplement of £50.
A typical tune up time would take roughly between 5-15 mins. This ensures the is the correct moisture and humidity in the reed in order to keep a stable pitch. (We do not want any squealing cats.. haha!)
I am happy to play outside
I always try to get my clients to choose their songs but also happy to assist if they would need a helping hand.
Previous customers have described my performances from touching and emotional to upbeat and Amazing.
