I have played just about every genre of music, so jazz, funk, house, soul and rock are no problem. I can work with a DJ or use my own high-quality backing tracks and sound system. I play alto and tenor saxophones both in bands and as a solo performer.

I have a high quality sound system with either 1 or 2 x 700w speakers, or a 300w speaker for smaller venues. I do not carry any lights.
I need to know the best load in access points, the rough size of the room and number of expected people at the event
I have Spotify to play background music between sets, if required.
I played for a Norwegian headlining band in the 80s and we played for the Oslo students graduation and headed the parade on Norway’s national day, with Katrina and the Waves as our main support band at the gig that night.
My influences are Charlie Parker, Michael Becker, Chris Potts, Dave Koz, David Sanborn and many other sax players. I don’t think the greatest song of all time has ben written yet.
I started gigging after leaving the Royal Northern College of Music in 1985 and spent 1988-99 with touring theatre companies, before starting a regular teaching job so I could concentrate on more local gigs
I love playing at any event where the guests enjoy themselves, no matter the amount of people or the size of the venue

I’m happy to perform outside as long as there is shade to play in and cover in case of rain. I also need a single 13amp power point
With enough notice, clients can request a particular set list from my extensive song list, or if they have any favourite songs that are not in my repertoire, I will do my best to accommodate.
