Australis saxes are one of the UKs leading saxophone quartets and are available for corporate functions, weddings and private events. The quartet has a vast experience spanning over 6 years having performed recitals at prestigious venues including the Royal Festival Hall, the Bridgewater Hall, the Purcell Room and the BBC Proms. They are often in demand for special events and members of the quartet have performed for guests including the Queen, HRH the Prince of Wales and EU delegates. They have enjoyed performing at private functions at the Guildhall, Peckforton Castle, Stationers Hall, Cambridge University, Oxford University, Manchester University and many more.
The members of the quartet have studied at some of the UK’s leading institutions including the Royal Northern College of Music, the Royal College of Music and Cambridge University. They have been praised for their ‘superb technique and style’ (Planet Hugill) and ‘great skill’ (Classical Source) and enjoy performing an eclectic range of music. As skilled performers Australis pride themselves on providing music to suit any event and special requests can be catered for as well as a wide variety of genres.
