The Amber Duo is an energetic, versatile and experienced piano and saxophone duo based in Greater Manchester and available for hire across the UK. Both musicians have been trained at the Royal Northern College of Music. Emily (piano) and Hannah (saxophone) specialise in performing live background jazz and pop music for any event or occasion with the utmost professionalism and taste. Since 2016 they have performed at weddings, corporate events and private parties across the U.K.

Two power sockets, two parking spaces, two chairs, safe place to leave belongings, performance space of at least 3 x 2 metres.
We are completely self contained and bring out own PAT tested amplification. We do not provide lighting equipment, but this is not required for our act.
Any useful directions to help us find it and park in the right place! We will make contact with the venue before your event date to go over logistics with them.
This isn't currently a service that we offer.
Our favourite gig was a classical performance at the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester. It was a really special place!
We love Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday! However, our favourite song to play together is Just The Two of Us.
We studied Music at university and started gigging during that time. Now we perform all over the UK!
Wedding ceremonies are really special. It is an honour to be part of such an important event!
Setup: 45 minutes - 1 hour before performance.
We can play outside if the weather is dry, but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close by.
Clients can choose as many songs as they like from our repertoire list, or we can collaborate and help you choose. We are happy to learn up to 5 songs in advance, but we need at least 3 weeks' notice so that we can prepare them for you.
