Alive and Kicking is a high quality 4 piece covers band that play a range of rock, pop and dance music from the 1950s to the present day, which can be tailored to the requirements of each client.
Alive and Kicking have gained a reputation as an exciting, entertaining and versatile band, performing at various types of functions and events including wedding and birthday parties, as well as other anniversaries and celebrations. We have also gigged at a range of pubs and clubs. The members of the band have all been playing for a good number of years and as a result bring that extra level of professionalism and maturity to their performance.
Our repertoire is extensive and we are always prepared to learn and perform songs that aren't in our current listing, provided we are given enough notice. Please note that this may affect our fee, depending on the amount of work involved in learning any new material.
We have our own PA and lighting systems and can offer a limited DJ service as part of the package.
We are based in Southampton but will travel a reasonable distance to perform, provided that any extra travel costs are added to our basic fee. Please note that our minimum fee is for two one hour sets. We are prepared to play longer and finish later than 11.30pm, subject to negotiation.

We require of a minimum of 4 metres x 3 metres performance space and at least 5 x 13 amp electric sockets. We need two parking spaces.
We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
We would need directions and/or postcode to the venue, and to know where to offload our equipment. It would be useful to know if there is a sound limiter in the venue.
We can provide recorded music before, after and between sets.
We require approximately two hours to set up and sound check before the show.
We are happy to play outside provided there is protection from rain or dew. We would need a flat area and a good power supply.
We have a fairly wide repertoire and clients are welcome to pick which songs they like from the list. Given enough notice, and depending on the complexity of the song, we may be able to learn a specific song or two for the event. This may slightly increase the fee charged.
Previous customers have told us we have a really good sound, a great variety of songs and give energetic performances which get people dancing the night away.
