Alice Black is a jazz, swing and soul singer based in Surrey, UK. She has a wide repertoire of songs from the 1920s to the 70s and more modern repertoire. Her repertoire includes songs from the Gatsby era, the swing era - 1930s and 1940s, Christmas standards, 60s and 70s pop and Motown.
She performs songs made famous by Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Marvin Gaye, Dusty Springfield, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, and many more.
Alice can provide any size of band from a duo (singer and pianist or guitarist) up to a sextet (singer, pianist, saxophonist, trumpet player, drummer and double-bassist).
She has provided music for weddings, wine bars, parties, corporate events, summer garden parties, dinner parties and Christmas occasions.

I don’t know what the best gig is but the highest one was the performing in the BT tower restaurant in London. My pianist has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and I have sung at Her Majesty's theatre in London.

I began singing 20 years ago for my college big band. Since then I have worked all over the country with top musicians for a range of events and occasions.

We normally play for x2 hour long sets or x3 40 minute sets. We can play for longer if required.
