Alfonsina Strings are an acoustic quartet playing music that ranges from classical rumba to gypsy jazz. With the instrumentation of Violin, Cello, Guitar and Double Bass you could call them a string quartet (though not in the strictly traditional sense). The presence or Guitar and Double Bass allows Alfonsina Strings the ability to inject a bit of rhythm into the music, while retaining all of the class and subtleties of a traditional string quartet.
