We are a colourful and vibrant London based marimba band playing joyful music from Botswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe, including folk songs, original songs and popular covers from the southern part of Africa. Our band's set-up includes soprano, tenor and baritone marimbas, drumming, percussion and singing. Our marimba band’s sound is full of energy and pulsating rhythms - and our music shares the rich cultures, histories and stories of the people of southern Africa. The instruments are acoustic, so require no micing - making the set up very flexible. Our passion is entertaining and bringing the warmth of southern Africa to each and every engagement we perform at.
