"We would highly recommend Rhiannon. She kicked off our mini festival with a bang, singing all our favourite feel-good songs. She was a joy to work with and even sang last minute songs we requested. We are a charity who work with young adults with complex disabilities and she showed a real compassion and kindness towards them and entered the spirit of what we were doing. Everyone was really impressed by her stunning voice and loved the song choices. Hopefully we can get her to visit again in the future. Everyone at The Bevern Trust 10 stars!"

"Thank you so much for being able to accommodate us on the wedding of my son! What with atrocious weather causing extensive flooding that weekend and having to postpone the wedding from the Saturday night until the Sunday, we were more than grateful that the band was still willing and able to perform on the Sunday. Great music and excellent calling made the evening, with all participants thoroughly enjoying themselves - sometimes with a little over enthusiasm! I highly recommend this band to any future clients booking. The band were more than helpful - especially Jennie with all my questions and the band on the day were superb. "

"Georgia is a very fine guitarist and has a great voice which is warm and appealing. Georgia is an excellent solo performer who can deliver a great 'unplugged' style performance anywhere around the vessel. She delivers 100% on every performance and interacts brilliantly with her audience both on and off stage. Georgia knows how to read a room well, and has an extensive repertoire of songs to choose from, all of which are popular hits that are favorites amongst our guests. Her charismatic personable demeanor creates a great vibe in the room and really engages the audience. Georgia has an excellent voice with a wide vocal range and quality that suits many different song styles, plus she uses loops very effectively to fill out her sound and give her freedom to interact more with her audience without having to worry about constantly supporting her vocals with the guitar. The band were very adaptable, as we changed the arrangement for the sets on the night, and reassured that they were there to entertain - which they certainly did. "We were on a 42 night cruise and It Takes Two were amazing. They played almost every day and everyday was different. They really varied their songs and style and managed to play any requests. If they didn’t know a song they would even learn it. Graham is an amazing guitarist and Kelly a great voice, both are so friendly and approachable. They would suit playing at any occasion and are guaranteed to get everyone up dancing. "

"We are so grateful to Black Velvet Ceilidh Band for their last minute flexibility in playing for our wedding! We moved the wedding forward by a month to beat the lockdown and the band not only made themselves available on the new date, but also changed the style of music with just 3 days notice! Firstly their contactability and organisation was brilliant, making the booking and discussions with them hassle-free. Ceilidh would no longer have been appropriate, so the guys played a mix of Irish songs and jigs and reels. The music they provided was fantastic, creating the most beautiful atmosphere for the milling around and photo time between ceremony and reception. They were inconspicuous but added so much. Would definitely recommend them (and their versatility!) for any event.’"

"Hollie was amazing performing at our wedding on the 4th August 2017. Hollie was excellent before our big day too, planning the structure of the day and with a lot of songs we chose ourselves. From our first conversation with Hollie our minds were put at ease with her calm, professional, and friendly manner which really took all of the stress away. Hollie created a really personal set which added a touch of magic to our special day.....she truly has an amazing voice. I will definitely hire her again. "

"These guys and girls were fantastic. We had them play 2 x 1 hours sets and everyone loved them. Great communication from the start made it very reassuring when booking a band of a website. A great vibe and excellent sound. Playing a brilliant twist to modern pop sounds and still getting some of the classics bangers in to. Can't thank you all enough, will highly recommend to everyone after a band. "
