"BM Ceilidh were excellent! They pitched it right for our inexperienced group, getting among us to ensure we were right and keeping steps fairly straight forward. Additionally, they were very good at trying to keep us on track with timings when we stopped for food as well as playing while we talked and recovered between dances"

"We hired John and his band as a quintet for our wedding and what a wonderful choice. The guys travelled to the New Forest for us for our big day. Superb sound and multi talented. They provided a substantive song list to choose from plus a couple of extra requests. They had everyone up and rocking. Wonderful Irish sound and a memorable singalong to ‘Dirty Old Town’ to more modern music. On top of that lovely guys with a warm personality who really looked like they enjoyed performing. "The band played for our wedding and were fantastic, they were relaxed and flexible to fit in with our arrangements. The music was great they are all very talented musicians and the caller was patient and relaxed. "The band was booked to play at our fund raiser event at Farringdon Village Hall, East Devon. We had organised a village Barn Dance / Social in order for parishioners to gather from around the extensive parish, and to raise funds for the village hall. Wow! How great were these guys!!!??? Simply brilliant. Three very laid back, no fuss, no nonsense musicians who worked wonders in getting everyone dancing to some great tunes. Even die-hard 'non-dancers' were dancing. A friend and neighbour found this band and recommended that we use them. What a great choice. We would certainly recommend Blue Jewel to anyone considering hiring a professional local Ceilidh band. Thank you very much Blue Jewel; you certainly helped make the night a great success."

"It's No Reel were absolutely fantastic! Tom made all of the pre-wedding arrangements very easy and he was very accommodating with our timings and choice of first dance. They were absolute pros from the start, the set up was seamless and they really had an amazing sense of the room and how to engage everyone. The music itself was fantastic and really filled the room creating such a wonderful ambience for the rest of the evening. We had guests that had never been to a ceilidh dance before and they loved it and found the instructions really easy to follow. We really enjoyed the little quirky Michael Jackson tribute in one of the dances and some of the interesting variations of the dances we had never done before. The mini disco at the end was also brilliant and completely on point with the music I had suggested. We would highly recommend It's No Reel!"
