About / Biography

Stars & Stripes Country Show features an eclectic mix of talent from all over the world. Sean & Savannah, both from the USA, take lead vocals blending their voices together in an authentic country twang. Band leader Steve has been in the U.K. music Industry for 30+ years with a deep well of experience and natural talent on the guitar. Jade is an extraordinary Fiddle player mixing her classical training with a wild flair of knees-up sensibilities. Pete and Daniele on drums and upright bass respectively lay down the solid foundations to get you bouncing in your chairs and on your feet.

What are your basic technical requirements?

240V Power X 8,
Stage big enough for 6 people (minimum 6x4m),
changing room,
soft drinks & snacks,
3 parking spaces.


Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes we can provide a full PA 2.4Kw which is suitable for UP TO 500 people, we have a few LED lights but can hire in a full lighten set up as an extra

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we can provide a Spotify playlist but not a DJ request service


Do you need a stage

Yes, the band need to be protected from the audience who tend to get a little wild at our shows

No we run our own sound but for larger venues we would be happy to use in-house FOH engineers


Can the band play unplugged

NO ! Sorry


Can the band play a stripped back acoustic show?

This is technically possible but not something we do often

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

We have a residency at St Martin In The Fields, Trafalgar Square. We perform in the Crypt and so far have sold out every show. We also perform at Theatres & Venues in Hertfordshire (Hertford Corn Exchange) as well as Summer Festivals (Todd In The Hole)


Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We are a country tribute band so inspiration comes from a broad mix of legendary artists including Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, John Denver, Zac Brown Band, Billy Ray Cyrus, Shania Twain, Garth Brookes, Brothers Osborne and many more


What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We are all full time professional musicians. Band leader Steve Young has been in the music industry since 1996 and has performed with Lionel Richie, Peter Andre, Darren Hayes (savage Garden), Ramin Karimloo (Les Mis) in venues including The Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, Royal Festival Hall, Hyde Park, Shepherds Bush Empire, London O2, Sydney State Theatre just to name a few. Steve has also written and released three albums and has been played on radio stations around the world. In 2023 Steve was awarded for his contribution to entertainment at the National Entertainment Awards

The Nashville Nights band was commissioned in Jan 2023 by St Martin In The Fields and created and curated by Steve Young (LLM Artist)


What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Venues and Events that are designed around the entertainment. E.g Tribute Night, Country Night, ticketed events etc. The rowdier the crowd the better. We encourage lots of singing, dancing and generally having a good time

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Arrival: 2 hours before the performance
Set up / pack down: 1 hour


Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, if there is suitable protection from Sun, Rain & Wind


Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We have a set show that has been curated using our expert experience. We can consider a special song request but generally its a set show

Honestly I was blown away by how well you all gelled, everyone’s incredible talent and the song choices. A fabulous evening!
