Based in: West Sussex

Another of our bands who started their musical journey on the festival scene. The Skeleton Crew play music which is slightly on the "dark" side (in the best possible way!). They provide the perfect accompaniment to any horror themed party or any event where a haunting atmosphere is required. Having played at Glastonbury, Bestival and Secret Garden Party alongside performances on BBC Introducing this band certainly have a great pedigree.

The Lost

Based in: Shropshire

The Lost take popular tunes and put their own unique spin on them, creating an extremely full sound from just Acoustic Guitar, Violin, Harmony Vocals and Percussion (and when they are feeling particularly extravagant, a little bit of Mandolin too). They have been playing together in different acts for over ten years and are as comfortable playing classic songs from the 60s and 70s as they are playing modern rock and pop. Separately, they have toured across the world, playing venues of all sizes and supporting some of the biggest acts in the charts today.

Blakeley and Son are a fantastic, locally renowned Celtic folk duo. With father Garry on violin/vocals and son Edd on guitar they perform some of the most authentic folk music around. The Hot Rock Brass Band is a band inspired by the New Orleans brass band tradition but also incorporating influences from many other cultures and genre’s – Jamaican, Eastern European, funk, Latin, gospel, jazz. This is all tied together with a sense of humour and fun giving the band their own unique sound. Sousaphone player Graham Hughes put the Hot Rock Brass Band together 2007, surrounding himself with a collection of highly versatile jazz musicians who could take a melody and turn it into an arrangement on the spot. Hot Rock Brass Band has been inspiring people of all ages and tastes at weddings, clubs, arts centers and festivals across the UK.

Pop and Rock Classics with a Gypsy Jazz Twist

The Full Beans

Based in: Manchester

The Full Beans were formed in 2014 by professional guitarists Jake and Chris. The plan was to play a mixture of old gypsy jazz standards and modern day rock/pop classics with a gypsy twist. Having quickly made an impact on the Manchester acoustic scene with their first live shows at the end of the year, the duo has since expanded into a variety of line ups that can now offer vocals, upright bass, violin and drums as well. Known for their frantic and heavily improvised live shows mixed with intricately arranged medleys expect to see The String Beans busking in a town near you soon!

Choro Bandido

Based in: Surrey

The four members of Choro Bandido formed the group after many years of playing Brazilian samba together. Their love for Brazilian music has led them to studying a genre from early 20th Century Rio de Janeiro, "Choro". Choro emerged in Brazil at the turn of the 20th century and blends the music of the 19th century Portuguese courts, early samba rhythms and elements of ragtime.

Gypsy Cabaret Collective offer a musical cabaret experience that will amuse, bemuse and amaze. Performing a theatrical mixture of Gypsy, Balkan, folk, dance and swing influenced original songs and arrangements. Expect rich harmonies, fast paced strumming, groovy bass lines, banging beats, virtuoso fiddle work, knees-up squeezebox merriment, a bombastic trombone, hair raising electric solos and a big slice of circus to top it all off. The group are fully insured, trained and equipped to undertake live music, fire manipulation and circus arts performance.
