"Every now and then you find the perfect music for an occasion - and for a friends and family celebration in November in a Derbyshire barn swing band Cafe Manouche were absolutely perfect in every way. From our first contact, Matt and Natalia were prompt with their email responses so that come the day there were no outstanding questions and they were also incredibly helpful with their suggestions. They arrived exactly on time at the venue (no mean feat on a Friday night on British roads!) and immediately understood the mood that we wanted to create - soft background music during the dinner followed by a livelier set to get folk dancing (two guitars, Jonny on accordion and Natalia's stunning vocals certainly achieved that!). Getting timings right at functions is almost impossible but Cafe Manouche were so flexible that it never became a problem - and in between sets they mingled with our guests, who had a great time chatting to them. They are the most delightfully friendly, professional and talented people and we have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to create a unique musical ambience - we'll be keeping in touch with them for when we host another celebration, hopefully before too long. "Awesome experience from start to finish! Professional and timely communication prior to event with Tony, the band leader. Our event was plagued by snow and extremely icey conditions. Despite this, the band arrived early and were so friendly they put us all at ease. As soon as the first song belted out I knew we were in for an excellent night of dancing. Their repertoire of rock n'roll was faultless and we could not have asked for a better band to fill the dance floor. Thanks for making my mum's 70th birthday so special! Anneliese xx"

"We all had a wonderful night. The band were excellent playing exactly what we wanted, bringing back memories of the 60's. Within a few minutes of them starting to play the dance floor was full and stayed that way all night. The band members were friendly and could not do enough to make the experience perfect. At the end everyone was saying how good they were, so many compliments. We would definitely rebook if there is another occasion to allow us to do that. "

"The Rampart Street Ramblers played a wonderful mix of music at our wedding as guests arrived, mingled and drank at our wedding reception. The weather was not as dry as we'd hoped, so the band moved around to various places around the venue to entertain different groups. Beforehand, Dai called me and was very happy to cater to our specific tastes and needs. So many of our guests told us they were great, and at least one couple have asked for their details for their wedding too. My only disappointment was I didn't get to hear them much as I was being dragged off in all directions. "

We had a meeting the other day just to review the way the festival had gone and the feedback that was received was excellent.
