"Absolutely amazing!! We hired Mariachi Las Valentinas for a Mexican Day of the Dead party and were totally blown away by the quality of the music and the talent of the musicians. They really made the party go with a swing, and played a really good mixture of fast songs that had the audience up and dancing, and some slower songs that gave people a chance to catch their breath. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they brought so much joy to our party - more than happy to personally recommend if there's anyone out there in two minds about whether to book them, just contact us via thephoenixgarden.org and we'll give you any extra details you need. Totally brilliant and we just can't thank this wonderful band enough - we had so many comments from local families who attended the event and told us how much they enjoyed the music. It almost felt as though we'd got some old friends to come and perform for us. If you're thinking of music for your party we'd wholeheartedly recommend Mariachi Las Valentinas - just please don't book them for any Day of the Dead events, because well be needing them again!!"

"Well, we had never booked anything quite like a Caribbean steel band previously, but we fancied a change to our normal style of drab Christmas entertainment. The guys calypsofied Christmas carols, and played a good mixture of songs that we all knew. All in all we are definitely happy that we booked Francis and his troops, and I would certainly recommend them for any occasion."

"In Edinburgh, this is a rare chance to hear beautiful bossa nova music band. Today I was walking on the street to go somewhere for enduring an another cloudy summer day and right after cross the load the rhythm of bossa nova came out from a Bar near by. I got just carried away with the sound then just went in the bar alone ehich I have never tried to do, lol. (As a married and an introvert Asian woman perhaps) Sérgio was playing guitar with a drummer and their bossa nova playing got me almost tears came up. It was so beautiful moment for me. How deadly I have been wishing to hear bossa nova in Edinburgh. I have no idea why I haven’t been able to find his name when I google any type of bossa nova concert or live event in Edinburgh while I am living here almost 3 years. :-( Their music even brought sunshine back here in Scotland at the end of their performing today. lol. So appreciate for that I could have their great performing today under the sunshine in summer! I agree with the previous reply as he wrote that many people at bar or restaurant don’t listen to the music. However, at least today I can tell you that there was only their music and I in my universe at the moment and it was full of life feeling. Thank you Sérgio!"

"De Fuego played for us at our Spanish themed evening at Wokefield Park Hotel in June 2018. This was a very special event for the association as we were celebrating the anniversary of our 60th year and 50 years of annual conferences. Edina and Tony were wonderful and their performance was great, perfectly tailored to the mood of the room. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we would certainly consider booking them again. "

"We've been running concerts in our living room for just over two years and have hosted two outstanding, memorable Jazz concerts involving Nigel's Verve Jazz trio, with Terry Seabrook and Al Scott with Nigel on bass and Darren Beckett on drums. The quality of musicianship and atmosphere was really exceptional a physical, heartfelt performance from all with particularly beautiful, intimate solos from Nigel. "As a station, we had hired Latina Festivale to play at our Summer Ball. They were to play at the beginning of the evening to create the atmosphere and to get everyone in the mood. Latina Festivale turned up in plenty of time and was nothing but professional. He was incredible helpful with supplying burnt disc with appropriate music on which were going used during our meal. This was above and beyond what they needed to do and was very much appreciated. The music that they played was perfect. It was just the right blend of upbeat and chilled to allowed all party goings to mingle and be heard but also enjoy the music. "I Keep meaning to ring - which I will - but just wanted to say you guys on sat were absolutely fab - the jazz was lovely - I looked back a few times and it was just magical to see - and the band was amazing - all and sundry said they hadn’t seen such a good band if not ever then def for a long long time - the amount of dancing proves the point too - my playing added to it all as well!!! "After a decade or so in London, he has lost none of his native musical ability on accordion or as a bel canto tenor. The duo's irreverence, including introducing Harrison's virtuoso violin flourishes as if playing at the Queen Vic, and sundry comic turns, help give their musical sketches a real sense of pace. Yet for all their larking around, when the music demands gravitas and expression, it's there in spades."
