"Thanks so much for last Saturday - the band were fantastic and the caller was so lovely in the way she gently got so many people involved - particularly loved the way she drew the Children in ! You managed to get several people dancing who had never danced at a barn dance before and one person said ' I never dance at weddings , but this seemed so friendly and fun I thought I'd have a go - particularly when I saw their name was two left feet cos that's me!' You created just the atmosphere we were hoping for and we also had several comments about how good the musicians were - and that came from people who are accomplished musicians themselves. So many thanks to all the band! "

"We cannot thank Blue Jewel enough for giving us such a fun-filled, memorable evening. The four-piece band were excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed the variety of music. The blessing dance was a real favourite! The caller was fantastic at encouraging and directing everybody on the dance floor. So many of our friends and family commented on how wonderful the ceilidh was. We would highly recommend Blue Jewel to anyone in need of talented, enthusiastic and friendly band. "Mick and the boys really made the evening of our wedding. The music was brilliant and they tailored the calling and dances for a mixed crowd of ceilidh veterans to first timers. "The Shooglers were one of the best Ceilidh Bands I have had the pleasure of attending. They were amazing, the performance on the night was great, they were able to gauge the crowd and manage to keep all involved. The communication and assistance with regard to the first dance was excellent. Honesty was great with regard to what they could and couldn't play as a first dance. Honestly one of the best bands. Would recommend them to anyone. Did themselves proud as it is a tough thing to do to trust a band with your wedding, but they were amazing. "

"Bue Jewel Celidh band are one of the best you could find in the Devon area. We had the most uplifting joyous party with family and friends and lots of children, all who danced their hearts out. Even the teenagers joined in and everyone was beaming as they left at the end of the evening. The dance caller Kip was brilliant at making the dances seem really easy and effortless and in no time at all we were stripping the willow and moving as one. Thank you Steve and Blue Jewel for the most enjoyable and happy party we have ever had, you are stars and we will want you back very soon, "

"After the 21 people left on the Sunday morning I suddenly realised how sore my feet were ... the party/American hoedown seemed to be enjoyed by all. Most people seemed to dance at some point in the evening. ...... The band was excellent and the caller was most patient with the directional dyslexix amongst us. In the interval they played all my favourite tracks by Elvis, Rod, Tom, Mick and Mr Sinatra Iwho unfortunately for one reason or another all sent their apologies!) ... The age range was between 80+(No, not me yet) to 6 weeks"
