"Hi G, Just a note from Thomas and me to say thank you SO SO much for helping Thomas to achieve a DISTINCTION in his grade 7. His teacher said 'he might pass'!! but it was TOTALLY down to your fantastic rehearsal sessions (other parents please note this wonder man gave us at least double the time for which we had paid and agreed) You quickly had Thomas smiling and rekindled his spark for music which he had lost - without you he said he would have not done the exam. Gareth spent so long helping with scales and aural tests and taught my son to ENJOY sight reading as well as bringing the pieces to life with his amazing accompaniment skills. We were astounded by the speed with which you established a rapport with our son and helped him with so many aspects of performing - real life skills which made all the difference. We have never heard Thomas practising and playing with such confidence and we were all in stitches with the humour our quips and mnemonics you gave in the pointers. I am an ex teacher and recognise in Gareth Giles that rare gift of a superb, kind teacher coupled with outstanding musicianship and the ability to get the best out of a student AND more importantly allow them access to music in the future. GARETH GILES is a truly outstanding teacher and musician and we cannot thank you enough for your kindness, encouragement and love of music PARENTS - or anyone - book this amazing man if you can for he is utterly brilliant, caring and a consummate musician. "Terry is a great Sax player. I have heard him play many times prior to our wedding. He played at our wedding on 18th June 2022. On arrival at our wedding reception he played as we got out of the wedding car at the champagne reception and serenaded us in the foyer. He then supplied background music during our wedding breakfast and in the evening accompanied the DJ playing intimately to us at our first dance and then many times during the evening reception. Terry is brilliant, every one loved it. It made our wedding personalised and very special. What a memory, Thank you Terry. Highly recommended. "

"Dave is just such a talented saxophonist. He performed for 2 hours at the drinks reception at my daughter’s wedding and we had so many comments from guests about just how good he was. It made my husband’s day when he played ‘Baker Street’! He was also a really nice guy. It was very easy to correspond with him over email and he has an extensive repertoire and was happy for us to choose all of the music. I can’t recommend him highly enough."

"I booked Mary as a surprise for my friend’s 30th birthday and I couldn’t be happier about how it went. Mary agreed to pretend she was my friend from work and came along to the party. Then whilst I distracted my friend she set up in 10 minutes on the side of the room and when we were back in the room she was ready to play. She was super friendly, punctual and professional - not to mention a talent! Really soulful voice and excellent guitar playing. She was really accommodating as well - took requests from guests and even invited a few to sing with her (and even play her guitar). My friend was really impressed and touched, said it made the night all the more special which was what I wanted of course. Thank you so much Mary!"
