Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

The best gig I played was the release of my solo artist music, under St. Blue. The release was held at Soho House's The Ned with a live band who have now become best friends. As a cover's artist, Breast Cancer Walk The Walk/Moon Walk - Sloane Square at 4am was a hugely rewarding experience. I've played for Women's Prize for Fiction a couple of times for Women's Week, I thoroughly enjoy meeting writers and poets, always delicious foods and champagne in a beautiful central London park. Publicly, I've played RideLondon in Hyde Park on a large stage as riders finished to celebrate with friends and family, Saatchi Gallery and Granary Square Brasserie as regular residencies. I've also played in the Shard, Royal Ascot, Tower Bridge, and other Soho House venues.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Candi Staton - Young Hearts Run Free! I love soul.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I didn't get into music until I went to Uni, I did open mic a few times alongside my coding degree. And ended up at music school in London, I played a few gigs that I got through friends and was able to build a reputation for myself from there.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I enjoy weddings the most as I'm a huge romantic.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

45 minutes before start. For an early arrival & setup extra fees apply.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I'm happy to play outside as long as there's a nearby power supply.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients can choose from my set list but I also offer to learn a song of choice.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Really sets the tone and atmosphere but doesn't take away from the main event.
